Through this powerful and inspiring workshop you will learn about “one on ones” and “core teams,” how to develop powerful working relationships, how to channel passion into action, and how to build effective teams within your congregation or organization.
What we’ll be learning:
- Understanding what is really ailing our communities and our society and the need for
civic engagement. - Understanding the scriptural concept of power - how to get it done.
- Reclaiming self-interest as a necessary tool to motivate oneself and others.
- Building healthy, accountable working relationships — the first step in effective leadership and ministry.
- Building teams and organizations that can be effective vehicles for social change.

Who Are the Trainers?

Greg Galluzzo, founder and Executive Director of the Gamaliel Foundation.
Assisting with the training will be:
Andres Kwon, Lead Organizer of ACTS in Syracuse.
Eric Fergen, Lead Organizer of NOAH, a sister affiliate of ACTS out of the Niagara Falls area.
The Gamaliel Foundation is a national community organizing institute working with over 60 affiliates throughout the United States, including ACTS. The mission of Gamaliel Foundation is to assist local community leaders to create, maintain and expand independent, grassroots, and powerful faith-based community organizations so that ordinary people can impact the political, social, economic, and environmental decisions that affect their lives.
